Worker's Fraud Conviction Leads to Nearly $140k in Restitution

A Northern California court ordered a worker convicted of fraud to pay nearly $140,000 in restitution, the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office announced. Ahmad Z. Noori was convicted of work comp fraud in March 2023. He was charged with two counts of fraud in 2021 after officials said he misrepresented symptoms of a head injury.
