Cal/OSHA Cites Two Employers After Worker Crushed

California workplace safety regulators have cited an agricultural employer and a farm labor contractor with proposed penalties totaling more than $100,000 after a worker was crushed at a walnut processing facility in Tehama County. Crain Walnut Shelling in Los Molinos faces proposed penalties of $67,500 following the fatal incident on Oct. 6, according to the Division of Occupational Safety and Health, also known as Cal/OSHA.
