Maximum TTD Rate Increasing 3.8% in 2020

The maximum temporary total disability rate will increase 3.8% in 2020, the California Division of Workers’ Compensation announced. Maximum TTD payments will increase to $1,299.43 per week from $1,251.38. At the same time, the minimum TTD benefit will increase to $194.91 per week from $187.71. California law requires that TTD benefits be increased by an amount equal to the percentage in the state’s average weekly wage.
