For many injured workers who have suffered an upper-limb amputation, a body-powered prosthesis will become their “go-to” prosthesis rather than a fancier myoelectric device, a medical director said.
Dr. Gary Clark, medical director of Paradigm, which provides managed care for catastrophic injuries, listed the many advantages of a body-powered prosthesis during a webinar last month.
