The Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office charged an osteopath with forging prescriptions to obtain narcotic drugs for self-use, according to the Medical Board of California.Prosecutors charged Dr. Kaveh Kashani, 34, of Long Beach, with a single violation of the penal code for signing the name of another person with intent to defraud, and a single violation of the health and safety code for forging and altering a prescription for a narcotic drug.The Medical Board said charges stemmed from a joint investigation with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Los Angeles County Sheriff...
