State Fund Reminds Employers that $3.5M in Grant Money Is Available for Safety Programs

The New York State Insurance Fund issued a reminder to employers that the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is accepting applications for grant money to fund safety programs. The administration is offering $3.5 million through the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program, according to a Thursday press release. The money is intended for the establishment or development of safety programs for small businesses, high-risk industries, temporary workers, employees with limited English proficiency and other underserved populations.
