Workers’ compensation judges in New Jersey would be allowed to serve an extra two years before being required by law to retire, under recently introduced legislation.
Workers’ compensation judges are required to retire by the age of 70. State law allows an exception through which retired judges younger than 80 can be recalled temporarily to preside over cases.
