Owners of PT Chain Accused of Fraud

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas announced that two people associated with a statewide chain of physical therapy clinics have been charged with defrauding the federal workers’ compensation program. Ricardo Cano, 46, and Rosita Cano Meeks, 56, were arrested Thursday on charges of health care fraud and conspiracy to commit health care fraud. Cano was also charged with seven counts of money laundering.
