Delaware Gov. John Carney has signed into law a bill that will allow the Industrial Accident Board to send hearing notices and decisions by email instead of certified mail.
House Bill 408, by Rep. Michael Mulrooney, D-Pennwood, passed both the House and Senate unanimously.
The bill would require hearing notices and decisions that are sent electronically to be sent by “secure” email with an electronic receipt.
