PTSD, Court Bills Fail, but Old Fund Measure Moves Forward

A plan to restructure the workers' compensation court system failed to pass the West Virginia legislature this year, as did a bill to make mental stress a compensable condition for first responders. But lawmakers did pass one significant piece of workers' comp legislation before they adjourned early this month because of the spreading coronavirus.
