Carrier Buys Into Benefits of Sit-Stand Workstations

Although a spirited debate continues over the benefits of sit-stand workstations, one workers’ comp carrier has outfitted its new headquarters with sit-stand desks for all of its employees. Texas Mutual rolled out the sit-stand desks for workers at its new corporate headquarters in Austin, which opened in October. The insurer did not have them at its former offices. Employees in cubicles and offices have their own sit-stand workstations.
