The Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission on Friday announced that Jordan Russell will serve as the agency’s new chairman.
The commission announced that Gov. Kevin Stitt on Friday named Russell chairman for a term that started on Tuesday. The move comes after Mark Liotta on Wednesday announced that he resigned as chairman the day before.
Liotta said he was stepping down early to facilitate a smooth transition.
Russell was appointed to the commission by former Gov. Mary Fallin effective Oct. 4, 2016. He was reappointed by Stitt to a term expiring Aug. 25, 2025.
