Supreme Court Sets June Argument Date for Dispute Over Stacking of PPD, PTD Awards

The Ohio Supreme Court is set to hear oral argument on whether an injured worker can receive an award of permanent partial disability benefits if she is already collecting permanent total disability benefits. In December, the Supreme Court issued a per curiam decision in State ex rel. Presbyterian Retirement Services v. Industrial Commission, which said stacked awards pf PPD and PTD benefits are not allowed. Sherry L.
