A Southern California landscaper was sentenced to 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to one count of felony workers' compensation fraud, American Employer Defense said in a statement Thursday.
Ignacio Luna-Silva was arrested last October after investigators discovered he was operating his own landscaping business while collecting benefits for an alleged back injury sustained while working for another firm in August 2011.
