The maximum attorney fee award in Oregon will remain the same next year because there has not been an increase in the state average weekly wage, the Workers' Compensation Division announced Thursday. State statute requires the agency to adjust the maximum attorney fee on July 1 of every year if the state average weekly wage increases. Because the state average weekly wage decreased this year — by 1.149% — the maximum attorney fee will remain $4,225 until June 30, 2018.
