Eleven suspected unlicensed contractors in Pasco County, Florida, were arrested as part of a sting operation by the county sheriff’s office, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The 11 men were charged on Nov. 19 and 20 with workers’ compensation fraud and unlicensed construction contracting. They advertised services on forums such as Craigslist, then proposed installing hot water heaters and laundry tubs to undercover authorities.
