Executives from the California Workers’ Compensation Institute will discuss Senate Bill 1159 and the situations in which the bill would presume COVID-19 is a compensable injury, during a webinar Wednesday.
The one-hour presentation will also cover requirements for employers to report known cases of COVID-19 under Assembly Bill 685. Both AB 685 and SB 1159 are awaiting the governor’s signature.
