Harford Mutual Announces Merger With ClearPath

Harford Mutual Insurance Group announced that it has received final approval from regulators in Maryland to complete a merger with monoline workers’ compensation carrier ClearPath Mutual Insurance Co. Harford, which is headquartered in Maryland, said ClearPath will be converted to a stock insurer named Clearpath Insurance Co.  ClearPath Mutual, formerly KESA of Kentucky and launched Jan. 1, 2018, provides comp coverage in Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee and West Virginia.
