RIMS, the risk management society, named Gary LaBranche as its new chief executive officer to succeed Mary Roth.
LaBranche has served as president and CEO of the National Investor Relations Institute since 2017. Before that, he was CEO for the Association for Corporate Growth, the Association Forum of Chicagoland and two other organizations. He was a senior executive at the American Society of Association Executives and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
LaBranche has a degree from Ohio State University.
He will assume the new role June 1.
