New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has picked a former insurance executive and state regulator to serve as executive director of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board, a vacancy created nearly a year ago by the exit of SWCB Executive Director Jeffrey Fenster.
SWCB Chairman Robert Beloten sent an email through the New York's statewide government computer network on March 20 announcing that Mark G. Wade, a deputy superintendent of the New York Department of Financial Services, will become the board's executive director next Monday.
