Brown Approves Medical Provider Performance-Based Audit Plan

Texas Workers’ Compensation Commissioner Cassie Brown has approved a Medical Quality Review Audit Plan for 2019 that calls for review of the appropriateness of physical medicine and rehabilitation services administered to injured workers prior to referrals for work conditioning or work hardening, the Division of Workers’ Compensation announced Monday.
