Business Owner Owes SCIF $176,297 After Pleading Guilty to Fraud

The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office announced that the owner of a California construction company who pleaded guilty to charges relating to underreporting payroll was ordered to pay $176,297 in restitution to State Compensation Insurance Fund. Marko Lukic pleaded guilty to felony charges of insurance fraud and tax evasion on Oct. 19.
