The National Council on Compensation Insurance projects that Florida workers’ compensation costs will increase by more than $61 million if proposed changes to the state’s Workers’ Compensation Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual go through as written.
NCCI also analyzed the state’s proposed changes to reimbursements for ambulatory surgical center services. The proposed changes to ASC reimbursement caps, NCCI believes, would result in a decrease of about $3 million.
