The New York Workers' Compensation Board has extended emergency rules that allow the use of telemedicine services in most situations.
The board adopted the rules last year during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and extended them again last fall. The rules, adopted on an emergency basis without public comment, were due to expire this week but have now been extended through April 12, the board said in a bulletin.
