The California Division of Workers’ Compensation on Tuesday said it would close district offices in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose to comply with “shelter in place” orders for seven counties in the Bay Area.
Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties on Monday all implemented shelter in place orders directing residents to go out only for essentials, such as buying food or medication or attending medical appointments.
The DWC said staff will work remotely during the closures and will be available at 800-736-7401.
