More Medical Providers Settling Fraud Suits by State Fund

California’s State Compensation Insurance Fund continues to roll up the settlements from a pair of complaints accusing providers and others of conspiring with Michael D. Drobot in a kickback scheme at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach. On Monday, attorneys for Dr. Daniel Capen informed the U.S. District Court for Central California that they’ve reached a settlement with the carrier.
