Qmedtrix can't challenge a settlement in which rival Fairpay seeks to resolve claims that it instructed clients to underpay medical bills because it could gain an unfair advantage in doing so, the Louisiana Court of Appeal said.Qmedtrix alleged that a proposed settlement between Fairpay and about 185 outpatient surgery centers constituted a price-fixing agreement that is illegal under state and federal antitrust statutes.
