The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in a letter addressed to the Colorado General Assembly, said a pending bill that would create a COVID-19 presumption is unnecessary and could be worse for workers who contract the disease.
The chamber said work comp already covers COVID-19 claims that are causally related to employment, making Senate Bill 216 superfluous.
