Nevada employers in 2020 will not be allowed to refuse to hire job applicants who couldn’t lay off the marijuana long enough to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Democrat Gov. Steve Sisolak on June 5 signed AB 132, which makes it unlawful for an employer “to fail or refuse to hire a prospective employee because the prospective employee submitted to a screening test and the results of the screening test indicate the presence of marijuana.”
