DWC Suspends In-Person Hearings Through July 23

Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commissioner Joseph Cortese II extended an order suspending in-person hearings in regular procedure contested case proceedings through July 23. The commissioner in March 2020 issued the first order suspending in-person hearings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The initial order suspended proceedings from March 16, 2020, through June 16, 2020.
