WCB to Discuss Hiring Judges at Thursday Meeting

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Board will discuss the possible hiring of administrative law judges during its meeting Thursday in Salem. A meeting notice says members of the board are scheduled to discuss judicial hires in accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes 656.724(1). The statute requires the chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Board to consult with the full board before hiring administrative judges.
