Court Reinstates Board's Claim for Indemnity from Trustees of failed Self-Insurance Trust

A New York appellate court ruled Thursday that the state Workers' Compensation Board can proceed with its claims for indemnification against the former trustees of the now-defunct Retail & Wholesale Industry Workers' Compensation Trust. The trust went belly-up in 2008, leaving behind some $4.4 million in liabilities.
