Aggregate claimants' attorney fees in Florida fell once again in fiscal year 2013-14, and the average fee payment fell for the fourth straight year, according to the soon-to-be-released annual report of the Office of the Judges of Compensation Claims.
David Langham, deputy chief judge of the OJCC, revealed claimant attorney fee statistics for 2013-14 in a blog entry Wednesday, the same day that the Florida Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a key case challenging the state’s statutory cap on attorney’s fees.
