The owner of a California farm was charged with involuntary manslaughter after a worker died while servicing a spinach harvester, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Carlos Jimenez Cruz, 32, died Oct. 15, 2020, when the hood on his clothing got caught in a spinning shaft on the machine.
