House Passes Bill to Shorten Window to Qualify for Indemnity Benefits

The Washington State House of Representatives on Tuesday passed a bill that would make it easier for workers to qualify for indemnity benefits for the entire period they were unable to work as a result of an injury. Under Washington law, an injured worker must be unable to work for at least three days to be eligible to receive time loss benefits.
