The California Department of Insurance announced that a Porter Ranch landscaper is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly working while collecting more than $50,000 in workers’ compensation benefits.
Frank Simplicio, 45, alleged a cumulative trauma to his neck and back in May 2017, the department said in a statement. He also claimed his job led to his diabetes, internal injuries and sleep disturbance.
