Labor Department Seeks Comments for TBI Rules

The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry requested comments from workers’ compensation system participants regarding new rules governing treatment for traumatic brain injuries. The department has not drafted proposed rules yet but said the budding regulations could include requirements regarding diagnosis and initial evaluations for TBIs, potential treatment plans based on the severity of injury and cross-references to current treatment standards.
