Jose Razo Reappointed to WCAB

California Gov. Gavin Newsom reappointed Jose Razo to the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Razo was an associate attorney at work comp defense firm Laughlin, Falbo, Levy and Moresi when Newsom’s predecessor appointed him to the WCAB in 2015. Before that, Razo was a partner at Pasternak and Razo and an associate attorney for Garry, Dreyfus, McTernan and Walsh. Razo, a Democrat, earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. The appointment is contingent upon confirmation by the Senate.
