Double-Dipper Gets 5-Year Sentence, $170,000 Restitution Order

The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office said a woman was sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to pay more than $170,000 in restitution for conning two employers in two states with phony workers’ compensation claims. Victoria Newell-Brown, 56, claimed she was totally disabled after she fell while working at a Family Dollar store in Pennsylvania in 2019.
