Survey: Most Carriers Conducting Safety Audits, Offer Dedicated Safety Unit

According to a survey by the West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner, 80% of insurers conduct safety audits of employers, and 60% have a dedicated safety unit for policyholders in the state. The annual survey of workers’ compensation safety initiatives is required by state law.
