CA Reform Bills Now the Law

Joined by California Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi, Governor Gray Davis signed the suite of bills comprising workers' comp reform, including major bills SB 228 and AB 227, into law yesterday afternoon.The Governor's press release says the bills "will give employers savings of more than $4 billion and protects benefits enacted last year for injured workers."
