A New York psychiatrist and former editor of the Journal of the American Psychoanalytical Association has been barred from treating injured workers, the state Workers' Compensation Board announced.
Dr. Arnold Richards was removed from the list of authorized compensation doctors after he was charged with prescribing medication for 14 patients without documenting treatment.
Richards, who had offices on 89th Street in Manhattan, has signed a consent agreement with the state Board of Professional Medical Conduct and did not contest the charges, records show.
