Chicagoland property and casualty carrier Old Republic International Corp. reported a 6.6% increase in workers' compensation premiums during the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same period in 2014.
The carrier on Thursday reported net premiums earned of $283.4 million in the three-month period ending March 31, 2015. This compares to $265.9 million in net earned premium for the first three months of 2014.
