A former Canton, Ohio, police officer was convicted of receiving more than $66,000 in workers’ compensation benefits for working two jobs while claiming to be disabled, according to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
North Canton resident James H. Blaine pleaded guilty Thursday to one felony charge during a hearing in the Stark County Court of Common Pleas, according to a BWC news release.
