Colorado lawmakers are debating a bill that would presume COVID-19 is a compensable injury for defined essential workers diagnosed with the disease before June 21, 2022.
Senate Bill 216, introduced Tuesday by Sen. Robert Rodriguez, D-Denver, would create a rebuttable presumption for specified workers who test positive for the new coronavirus, are diagnosed with COVID-19 by a licensed physician or for whom COVID-19 is listed as the cause of death.
