The Illinois Appellate last week court overturned a grant of summary judgment to an insurance carrier that had contested its duty to provide coverage to a worker employed by a contractor. In July 2011, the ConocoPhillips Co. entered into a master service agreement with Premier Insulation LLC. The agreement took effect on Aug. 1, 2011, and provided that Premier would perform work on downstream operations or projects of ConocoPhillips and its affiliates.
