Two Physicians Lose Authorization to Treat Injured Workers

The Workers’ Compensation Board has pulled the authorizations of two family practitioners who are temporarily suspended from treating injured workers. The board said Dr. Mark Lawrence Schwartz, a Long Island and New Jersey family practitioner, “may be guilty of misconduct” after pleading guilty to insurance fraud in New Jersey.
