The Workers’ Compensation Board has pulled the authorizations of two family practitioners who are temporarily suspended from treating injured workers.
The board said Dr. Mark Lawrence Schwartz, a Long Island and New Jersey family practitioner, “may be guilty of misconduct” after pleading guilty to insurance fraud in New Jersey.
Reports for services Schwartz rendered before Monday are valid, board Chair Clarissa M. Rodriguez said in Subject No. 046-1019.
