A special investigation done by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation resulted in nine people that either pleaded to or were charged with defrauding the state’s workers’ compensation system, according to a release from the BWC.
In a sampling of cases, over $80,000 will be paid back by those that pleaded guilty and some will serve up to six months in jail.
