The Illinois Appellate Court ruled that a restaurant worker could not proceed with her lawsuit against a coworker for injuries in a car accident that occurred while the colleague was driving her to work in a van owned by their employer. Case: Peng v. Nardi, No. 17-L-11447, 12/14/2017, published. Facts: Xiao Ling Peng and Lei Guan worked for a buffet restaurant owned by Royal Illinois.
