A New York appellate court ruled that a property owner was not entitled to summary judgment dismissing the claims of a worker who fell when a brick column gave way. Case: Mowla v. Wu, No. 2019-13573, 06/09/2021, published. Facts: Rafiquil Mowla fell from an extension ladder while working at a single-family residence owned by Baozhu Wu.
